This is my leaf art butterfly I made.
I decided to make a butterfly because it was the first thing that popped into my mind and we had all the right shaped leaves for it.
I really enjoyed making this at home.
It was fun collecting all of the leaves I needed from around the orchard.
What I found hard about making this is finding all the right sized leaves I needed and putting the leaves in the right position to get a butterfly look.
Apart from that it was so fun creating it.
My two sisters were also making a leaf animal and so did dad.😜
Hi Bella
ReplyDeleteI love your butterfly! You chose the perfect leaf for the body.
Your reflections about your Blog post are really detailed - ka pai!
It's great that you involved the whole family in your art challenge.

Hi Bella, Great butterfly. You have made it almost symmetrical! if you don't know what that means you could try and find out. Once you know what it means it could be something you could include in another piece of leaf art perhaps? Great work finding the containers for the maths challenge! Did you make estimates first and if so were you close to how much they actually held or did you have to try out a lot of containers to get ones that held those amounts?
ReplyDeleteHi Bella, I like your Butterfly, what did Bonny's and Zoe's look like?
ReplyDeleteYour reflection shows you are thinking about your learning, well done.
I love that you are showing your learning on your blog

Well done, Bella!
ReplyDeleteThis a fantastic piece of learning! From your reflection, I can see that you must have gone into the learning pit a couple times to produce your fantastic final product - Ka mau te wehi!!
Your Butterfly looks great Bella, I can tell you have put a lot of thought into the leaves you used to make it.
ReplyDeleteKa Pai Bella,
